Accessing the Web Application

Users access the interface for the application through compatible web browsers including Internet Explorer 11, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Edge.

To access the application, browse to app.redbeam.com.

Enter your login credentials on the Login screen at app.redbeam.com or login with Google, Microsoft or other integrated authentication system. If forgotten, users can reset their passwords from this screen by entering your email address and clicking Continue.

The application opens to the Dashboard​​ screen, which provides a snapshot of key RFID data in the system.

Additional functionality can be accessed using the tabs on the left.

Administrator rights grants access to the following functions:

User rights grants access to the following functions:

User Menu

The User Menu is accessed by clicking the icon in the top-right corner of the application. The drop-down menu includes:

  • User Display Name
  • Application Use Case - Tenant Display Name
  • Profile
  • Help
    • Application Reset
  • Logout
  • Dark Mode
  • Version Number

The Profile menu displays your:

  • Display name
  • Email address
  • Assigned User Role
  • Contract ID (unique identifier for your account)

From the Profile menu, you can also reset your password.

Help → Application Reset

The Application Reset option forces a sync of your account in case of network disturbances.

⚠️ Warning: Un-synced updates will be lost during reset. This primarily impacts offline users. A confirmation prompt is shown before proceeding.

Logout

Logs you out of the application and returns you to the Login screen.

Dark Mode

Enables dark mode, inverting the color scheme of the application.

Version Number

Displays the current RedBeam software version. This value updates automatically with new releases.
