This section is only for RedBeam users who use RFID tagging. If you only use RedBeam asset tracking as detailed prior to this section, skip the following.
Currently RedBeam supports the Zebra TC52 with the eConnex 8 pin connector configuration with Zebra RFD40 sled. Before logging into RedBeam, please be sure that the TC52 is mounted and installed on the RFD40 sled.
The power setting for the RFID reader is set to max range for the Update and Inventory functions but can be changed using the Power slider on the Assign RFID screen.
Users can access the application on a RedBeam compatible mobile RFID device that has been pre-loaded with the RedBeam Mobile RFID application by clicking the RedBeam icon on the home screen or in the All-Apps menu.
On the Login screen, users can enter their login credentials. If forgotten, a user can click “Forgot Password?”, enter their email address and receive email instructions to reset their password.
The mobile Menu displays Update, Inventory and Assign RFID.
