Taking inventory with RedBeam can be accomplished on a smartphone or tablet, a handheld mobile scanner, or a computer. In order to take your inventory, you will first need to select the building and room that you are currently located in. This will display the assets that are located in that room. You can then begin to take your inventory, by either typing in the Asset ID, using the device's camera to scan the barcodes, or using a purpose-built scanner to scan the barcode. Once you have scanned or selected the asset. The edit asset window will appear, so that you can make any adjustments to the assigned details. You can also select save to mark the asset as Found. You will repeat this process for all of the assets in that location or until you are satisfied.
